I watched Gov. Sarah Palin give her acceptance speech tonight, and really it was about what I expected, not awe inspiring, but not bad either. The naton’s energy requirements cannot be met with even a 25-75 mix of renewables / nonrenewables. Have a look at the latest real-world efficiency figures for solar and wind. They are embarrassing, to say the least.

Unless you want to return to the Dark Ages, I suggest you consider the more sane alternatives; Continuing research to reduce coal’s particulate and sulfur emmissions.

Forget CO2. The earth is cooling. In any event, it makes plants grow.
